"Everyday Adventure"
Everyday is an adventure in Maine. From its lush forests perfect for hiking to its pristine lakes where fishermen are casting rods to its brisk coastal waters where you'll find kayakers surfing the waves, there is something special about our state. Rogue Life Maine takes our state's love for the outdoors and brings it to the masses with its Maine made bags, backpacks and totes and unique designs.
Started in 1969 by owner Mark Rodrigue's parents, Lionel and Diane, the company's maiden shop, Rod Co., became a staple in the community for sports banners, jackets and awards. In the early 80's the company relaunched its brand by adding high quality bags and totes.
In 2009, Mark and his wife Debbie took over the company from his parents, launching Rogue Wear. Thinking outside the box, Mark began designing new bags including the now infamous, Benny Backpack, named after his first grandchild.
Migrating from athletic gear, Mark really began focusing on branding Rogue Wear as a Maine lifestyle brand, and in 2020, alongside his childhood friend Judy Hall, the duo launched Rogue Life Maine.
It's signature logo, a pine tree with a centered star, was designed by Mark and was inspired by the original 1820 Maine state flag and his and Debbie's 14 acre Christmas Tree Farm in Lewiston.
"I believe there is an adventure waiting inside everyone. We live in Maine. We have all these great areas available to us right outside our door where we can quickly get outside for a walk with our grandkids on great trail and enjoy nature. Every adventure doesn't have to be elaborate. It's more about getting outside and making everyday an adventure." ~Mark
